Having been involved in this wonderful industry since 1992, I’ve come to learn a great deal about the cleaning & restoration industry. The one single most important fact that I’ve come to count on is this - Do not count on anything! This industry, as wonderful as it is, can be filled with obstacles, traps, and deceptions that can, if left unnoticed, destroy even the best-equipped restoration companies.

If you have been involved in the industry for any time at all, then you too understand the value of differentiating yourself from the rest of the pack. It only takes a glance at the industry to notice that most restoration companies look the same. From New York to California, plain, boring, and not likely to grab anyone’s attention is the norm.

Here’s a secret for you. There really are no deeply guarded secrets serving as obstacles to building a successful cleaning & restoration business. There also are not any “one size fits all” approaches when it comes to marketing a restoration business. The groups that you choose to market to are comprised of individuals, all of who have unique wants, needs, and desires. Understanding their needs, followed by an implementation of sound approach to fulfilling those needs is what will set you on a course to a steady flow of referrals that will continue to provide you work for years to come.

Our programs, like any business building programs, will require careful review, followed by a sincere commitment to implementing the program by yourself as well as your staff.
